Potatoes Au Gratin (GF/V/Freezable)

Small pan of Yukon Gold potatoes and yellow onion thinly sliced and cooked in half and half, butter, Gruyere and Parmesan cheese.  Rich and decadent! Serves 4. Comes par-baked, cooled and then topped with gruyere and parmesan ready to put in the oven to heat and melt the cheese until golden and bubbly.
